It's almost here!!

I cannot begin to explain how truly excited I am that footy season is literally just around the corner. With just over a month until the competition gets underway it's time to get my head back in footy mode!
I just signed up for NRL tipping and the Dream Team and I'm hoping to do a lot better than last year. I haven't chosen any players yet, I am just going to wait it out a little bit longer and do a little bit of research and try to add a variety of decent players who perform consistently well each week. As hard as it will be to not have as many Sea Eagles players in my team I know that I am better off having a wide variety of players from every single team.

I'm looking forward to seeing the 17 players who will form the core of our NRL team. There have been quite a few additions and a few farewells said. I wonder how well the new team will gel together and whether we will have another year in the finals or whether the shuffling and rearranging will get the better of us this year. We had a pretty rocky start to the season last year but in the end we pulled together and secured a spot in the top four, much to everyones surprise. Hopefully we have an amazing season ahead of us!

There are a couple of trial games coming up in February. The first will be played at Brookvale Oval on Friday 8th February against the Sharks. The second will be played at Bluetongue Stadium, in Gosford, Saturday 16th February against the Roosters. I am hoping to get to at least one trial game.
