Heading out to Brookvale Oval tonight for the first time this season. It's the most excited I have felt in a long while. I can't wait to be among the great atmosphere and cheer on my team to a victory! Tonight at 6:30pm we play the Newcastle Knights. I think we have a pretty good chance of winning, but it is so hard to tell when we are still so early on in the season.
Knights had a win last week 42-10 against the Wests Tigers. I didn't watch the game, but from what I heard, Tigers played awful. Who knows what they will play like tonight, we definitely need to bring our A-game tonight and secure another win. I can't wait to feel the electricity in the air at the ground tonight. I love that hyped-up feeling and I'm sure it gets the team pumped as well.
See you there and Happy Footballing!

Round 1 - Manly vs Brisbane
What a fantastic start to the season!! I was so excited leading up to the game, it was pretty much the highlight of my week. Nothing was going to stop me from watching that game. As much as I would have loved to have traveled up to Brisbane to watch the game live, I just wasn't able to. So I sat at home watching the Channel 9 coverage.

let the games begin...
So the trial games have been and gone and (insert audible sigh) I wasn't able to make either of them. I miss football so much it's starting to hurt. I miss the atmosphere, the adrenalin running through the team and the crowds at every break or hard hit. I miss having something to look forward to every week and I really miss beaming a smile at every Manly hater when we win a game!!

It's almost here!!
I cannot begin to explain how truly excited I am that footy season is literally just around the corner. With just over a month until the competition gets underway it's time to get my head back in footy mode!

Round 23 - Rabbitohs vs Sea Eagles
This game was always going to be a tough game. South Sydney were sitting second on the ladder after some easy wins over the lower ranking teams. Fortunately for us Greg Inglis was still out on suspension, although the team have been winning without him I really thought that this was one of the key reasons we were able to win. South Sydney have a massive forward pack, sitting on the sideline and watching them live really opens up your eyes to that, they're huge!
